Welcome to the Hazardfree Safety Blog.
Hazard Free Safety Soapbox is a blog for people who have an interest in Health and Safety…AND have something to SAY about it.This is an open place for you to muse about what works and what doesn’t…To listen to what others have to say. To ask questions, and receive answers. Submit all articles, opinions and questions to glen@hazardfree.co.nz and we will post all accepted pieces, usually within 24 hours. A signature - with a link to your website or contact details is accepted with each piece (no more than 2 lines).
There are professionals in the industry that have things they would like you to know about…things they would LOVE you to buy…of course…if you have a great product to promote, then we will happily set up a blog for you, and link to it from this blog.
We also encourage honest appraisals for products and services out there that have been used by our members. This isn’t a place for diatribes AGAINST any particular product/service. The type of negative feedback language we expect runs in the vein of “didn’t work for me/us…” If a post is unacceptable it will be returned to the sender to be revised and/or suggested editing will be sent back for approval of the sender.
We have a Blog administrator who is friendly and can be approached for help and keeping articles posted up to a professional standard.
The articles posted are opinions and experiences. There aren’t any paid journalists, so you can expect people to have opinions that differ from your own…If you KNOW better have your shout.
I will enjoy getting your feedback. I will enjoy seeing some of the products and services that people are dying to share with the rest of the safety world.
Don’t forget…This site is about “What works…and what doesn’t” The goal is to share, learn, and apply.
So here is to you and to the people you help, and the families that are counting on them coming back alive and healthy. Send us your opinions, articles, comments and questions - and everyone can help everyone else work through the tangled jungle of safety in the workplace.
Sincerely
